- The Skkn by Kim founder showed off Kim Air in a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians – it’s even more expensive than sister Kylie Jenner’s KylieSkin jet
- The speedy luxury jet is powered by Rolls-Royce engines and she’s already considering a travel-themed Skims collection – she’s often in it with boyfriend Pete Davidson
Here’s what you need to know about the US$150 million Kim Air.
Better than Bezos?
Kardashian owns a Gulfstream – a brand that the world’s richest men, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, also chose to get around. The TV star’s G65OER model is the extended version of the G65O and, at US$95 million, is said to be worth US$25 million more than Bezos’ own aircraft. With all its customisations, the jet is now reportedly worth US$150 million.
Powered by twin Rolls-Royce BR725 A1-12 engines, the plane can fly at a maximum speed of 616 knots or 709mph (1,141km/h) and a cruising speed of 516 knots or 594mph (955km/h). The California-based businesswoman’s aircraft can go a range of 7,500 nautical miles (8,630 miles/13,890km).
Kardashian reportedly bought the plane – which she affectionately dubs Kim Air – in February. She’s not the only member of the Kardashian-Jenners with their own jet – Kylie Jenner bought one in 2020, but it’s only worth US$72.8 million.
