Top Gun: Maverick is hitting international cinemas this month, which is sure to add quite a few millions to Tom Cruise’s already impressive fortune. In fact, according to Celebrity Net Worth, since starting his career way back in 1981, he’s become one of the richest actors of all time. Needless to say, his wealth and fame has also reached the bank accounts of his relatives, children and even his ex wives.

Tom’s repertoire of films has grossed over US$4 billion in North America and over US$10.1 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing box office stars of all time, according to Empire. So let’s not beat around the bush – he’s obviously also loaded from all that film money, and believed to have surpassed the half a billion mark.

And it’s his Mission Impossible films that have brought a hefty bulk of his fortune. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he’s earned around US$245 million from the franchise, including a US$100 million pay cheques for the second film.

Yes, Nicole Kidman is a successful actress in her own right, and happily married to singer Keith Urban. However, as Tom’s second wife between 1990 and 2001, it would be rude not to include her.

Much like her ex-husband, Kidman’s career has soared over the years, even more so after their divorce. Thanks to roles in iconic films like Moulin Rouge, Lion and Cold Mountain, Kidman has been one of the highest paid stars in the biz in her own right, as per Celebrity Net Worth. Yes, Kidman!
