  • Film festival jurors Julia Hall and Deepika Padukone wore Gucci and Sabyasachi, while WeCrashed’s Anne Hathaway dazzled with a 107,15-carat sapphire Bulgari necklace
  • Julia Roberts and Jennifer Connelly opted for unusual Louis Vuitton ensembles, and Elle Fanning looked ethereal in a gorgeous Armani Privé gown

The 75th Cannes Film Festival returned to the South of France on May 18. Welcoming acclaimed directors and actors along with their film crews from across the globe, this year’s celebration saw some highly anticipated projects get their moment in the spotlight. From Tom Cruise’s highly anticipated film Top Gun: Maverick, to Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae’s directorial debut Hunt.
The red carpet also saw several jaw-dropping couture gowns from the likes of Giorgio Armani, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Fendi, as well as Indian designer Sabyasachi – worn by actress Deepika Padukone. The high-octane fashion was lifted even further by glitzy high jewellery from several celebrated maisons: Anne Hathaway’s magnificent Bulgari Mediterranean Reverie necklace for one, which featured a statement-making 107,15-carat sapphire; and Julia Roberts’ masterpiece yellow diamond necklace from Chopard, to name a few.
