A 2017 legal drama is coming back to haunt the Kardashian family days after the first episode of The Kardashians premiered on Hulu.
Blac Chyna, former reality star and ex-fiancé of Kris Jenner’s son Rob Kardashian, is suing the entire Kardashian family for US$108 million for conspiring with NBCUniversal to have her reality show Rob & Chyna cancelled in 2016, according to ABC News.
But just who is Chyna and what’s the deal between her and the Kardashian-Jenners exactly?
Who is Blac Chyna?
Blac Chyna (real name Angela Renée White) had a difficult childhood. The former reality star was raised by a single mother in Washington DC and she worked at McDonald’s, Taco Bell and a pizza parlour after high school, her lawyer Lynne Ciani told the court.
The next year, she appeared in the music video for rapper Tyga’s song Rack City. The duo fell in love and had a son together, but split in 2014 when Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner.
Chyna started dating Kylie Jenner’s half-brother, Rob Kardashian, in 2016. The couple had a daughter named Dream together before splitting in 2017. According to Capital Xtra, before her relationship with Rob, she sparked dating rumours with rapper Future after she appeared in his steamy video song Rich Sex and had his name tattooed on her hand.
