Rosina Lam’s surprise best actress win at this month’s 2021 TVB Anniversary Awards caused controversy both at home and abroad, but for the 34-year-old actress it was a long time coming. After collecting her trophy for the role of Grace Koo in Battle of the Seven Sisters, the Xiamen-born, Hong Kong-based talent reflected on her decade-long stint at the city’s “star factory” in a teary acceptance speech which just multiplied the public’s intrigue.

When she’s not out and about, Lam can be found relaxing at her luxurious mansion on the top of Hong Kong’s notoriously exclusive Victoria Peak. Estimated to be worth up to HK$2 billion (US$250 million), it has a panoramic view of the famous Victoria Harbour.

Not only does her abode boast an impressive view, but she’s got plenty of amenities to keep her busy too. During the pandemic, Lam often shared pictures on Instagram of her spending leisure time at home, whether it was swimming in the pool or practising dance moves in her home studio.

It’s no secret that Lam is an avid dog-lover. She owns an Akita-inu, a Welsh corgi and a Border Collie. She has owned dogs since a young age and firmly believes they are man’s best friend. Despite her busy schedule filming dramas, she still finds time to unwind with her beloved pooches.

From posting videos on her Instagram of her pups splashing around in a kiddie pool on the mansion’s rooftop, or going on a hiking trip to spend quality time together, Lam is not short of ways to keep her and her pets amused.
