  • Alessandra and her sister Allegra inherited two yachts – Avel and Creole – and luxury properties in Switzerland, Milan and New York
  • The Gucci sisters cut off financial support from their mother Patrizia Reggiani – played by Lady Gaga in the film – after her prison release

The star-studded crime drama House of Gucci shines a light on the luxury fashion house’s tragic past. Although the film closes the book on Maurizio Gucci, who was shot dead by a hitman hired by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, played by Lady Gaga, viewers are left to wonder what happened to some of the other featured characters.

Most curious might be the life of Maurizio’s daughter, Alessandra Gucci, who inherited her father’s US$400 million estate along with her sister Allegra. Reggiani revealed that her daughters had cut ties with her in a 2016 interview with The Guardian.

Although Alessandra has stayed out of the public eye for the last few decades, here’s what we know about the 44-year-old daughter of Maurizio and Reggiani.

Although she never worked for her namesake fashion house, Alessandra used to design handbags for her premium label AG. In 2008, she released a limited edition collection titled The First. The Gucci heiress’ collection was available at high-end locations in Milan, St. Moritz, Lugano, Paris and Moscow, according to Spotlight Media Productions.

AG’s last released collection dates back to 2010.

Alessandra and Allegra inherited both of their father’s yachts, Avel and Creole. The pair associate sailing with fond memories from their childhood. “Some of the best memories I have on Creole are the water fights that would suddenly break out on board,” Allegra told Boat International. “They would start as just a splash between me and my sister and by the end of it everyone would be soaking wet …”
