South Korean rapper Iron has died at the age of 29. The musician born Jung Heon-cheol was reportedly discovered laying in a flower bed near his Seoul flat, by a security guard, on Monday (January 25) morning. He was sent to a nearby hospital but later pronounced dead.

His rise to fame
Iron rose to fame on South Korean rap reality survival show Show Me the Money. He came in as runner-up in the third season of the popular series in 2014, making his final appearance in the semi-finals performing the song Malice. The lyrics “I hope not to have regrets at the end of my life” hit hard now.
