Wonho, a former member of boy band Monsta X, has unveiled a teaser video of a track from his solo debut mini-album “Love Synonym #1: Right for Me”.

The singer’s agency Highline Entertainment shared a brief video of the song Losing You on YouTube, whetting fans’ appetite for his first solo act.

The artist debuted as a member of septet Monsta X in 2015 with the album “Trespass”.

But he left the group after unpaid debts and drug-use allegations were raised against him in November 2019. Starship Entertainment, his agency at the time, terminated his contract when an investigation was launched. However, he was cleared of the marijuana use allegations in March after police dropped their probe.

Wonho then inked a deal with Starship’s sub-label Highline for his comeback to the K-pop scene. His new album is slated to hit the shelves on September 4.
