To celebrate the Longines Hong Kong International Races (HKIR) - one of the most important fixtures of the city - Longines, in collaboration with Hong Kong Jockey Club, held a series of events and celebrations, including the Longines International Jockeys' Championship and Hong Kong International Races Gala Party.
Crowds flocked to the Longines International Jockeys' Championship in Happy Valley, which kick-started the HKIR. The event was graced by elegant actress Lin Chi-ling, clad in a glamorous blue evening dress and matching cocktail hat. Longines also unveiled its new Conquest Classic Moonphase Chronograph that added extra glam to the race. The Longines Hong Kong International Races Gala Party was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Guests including Jennifer Tse, Natalie Tong, and Sharon Chan were spotted. In celebration of the 130th anniversary of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Longines unveiled a special edition of the Equestrian Lepine pocket watch.

Is this your first visit to a racecourse?
It's my first visit to a racecourse in Hong Kong. I heard it's the one with the longest history in Asia. People here love horse racing, and it seems to be a part of Hong Kong lifestyle.
Have you ever bet on a horse?
I think I will later. I've been asking around about which horse is the strongest. It's going to be my first betting [experience] so I don't really know how to do it.
Are you scared of horses? What if you had to ride one in a film?
I am a little scared of horses. I really admire the jockeys who have so much control over their horses.
What is your dream proposal?
I 'm fantasizing about a romantic proposal on a hot air balloon.
