Mercedes-Benz creates surfboards for tackling gigantic waves

Mercedes-Benz Design has created the perfect surfboards for the most aspiring wave-riders. The MBoard project, featuring four cork surfboards slightly different in shapes, were designed and engineered by Hawaiian surfing star and big wave world record holder Garret McNamara together with Mercedes-Benz.

The boards were subjected to extreme testing at the Mercedes-Benz Design Centre. The boards are extremely suited to ride monster waves. McNamara aims to use them to ride the gigantic waves off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal. The boards are perfect for surfers who want to take on the most extreme challenges.
