Better With Beer festival in Hong Kong: over 150 craft beers on free flow, live music, food, drag bingo and other games at two-day event
- Hong Kong’s Better With Beer festival this weekend has more than 150 craft brews available on free flow, music from local bands, DJs and food
- There will also be outdoor games, including giant Jenga, drag bingo, and lip-sync battles, with furniture made from upcycled Levi’s to rest on
The team behind the Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival have teamed up with the Craft Beer Association of Hong Kong to launch Better With Beer, a two-day beer and music festival taking place at the city’s Central Harbourfront on Friday and Saturday this week.
This comes just six months after the Clockenflap festival rocked the same venue, and a few months before the landmark festival returns from December 1 to 3.
Better With Beer will feature more than 150 beers from some 20 breweries and distributors, including Gweilo, Young Master, BrewDog, Carbon Brews and Yardley Brothers.
The best part? Visitors get to sample unlimited free-flow beer and beer-related drinks from these makers; cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks will be charged for. And in true Clockenflap fashion, there will be live music, food outlets and outdoor entertainment to keep the buzz going.
Musical acts at the Dai Dadi entertainment tent will include Hong Kong bands The Boogie Playboys, Fountain Collective and Shumking Mansion, alongside DJ acts including Crimes Against Pop, South Canton Soul Train and MouseFX.
