Roller coaster enthusiasts and thrill ride junkies are already salivating: 2025 is shaping up as a very good year for new rides and attractions at theme parks around the world.

Here is a top-10 list of the best new rides and attractions coming to theme parks around the globe in the coming year.

Many parks have already begun construction on 2025 projects, while other parks have only announced plans or launched teaser campaigns.

1. Six Flags Qiddiya City

The new US$1 billion Six Flags Qiddiya City coming to Saudi Arabia will feature eight roller coasters when the amusement park debuts in 2025.

Falcon’s Flight will be on every enthusiast’s bucket list as the fastest (250km/h, 155mph) and tallest (195 metres, 640ft) roller coaster in the world.

2. S&S Worldwide Axis

The first S&S Axis coaster under construction at a Saudi Arabian indoor family entertainment centre is set to open in 2025.
