BTS’ V and Blackpink’s Jennie dating in Paris? Blurry romantic video reignites online rumours as K-pop management agencies stay quiet

Renewed talk of BTS’ V and Blackpink’s Jennie dating has surfaced online, this time after a video purported to show the two K-pop superstars holding hands and walking in Paris went viral.
The short video, filmed and posted by a French photographer Amar Taoualit, shows a man and a woman, both wearing bucket hats, holding hands while taking a stroll by the Seine in Paris.
Although their faces are not visible, online commentators say their clothes and appearance give away their identities.
V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, reportedly left South Korea for France on Monday for fashion shoots and brand promotion, while Jennie Kim is expected to appear on this year’s Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet on May 22 to promote her first acting role in the US HBO original The Idol.
Neither of the stars’ management agencies – V’s Hive and Jennie’s YG Entertainment – have released an official statement regarding the viral video.
This isn’t the first time V and Jenny “sightings” have sparked dating rumours.
In May 2022, rumours of a romantic relationship between the two were raised after photos of a man and a woman – speculated to be V and Jennie, but never confirmed – in a car on Jeju Island spread online.
In August, more personal photos of the two together surfaced online via Twitter and Telegram. This was believed to be the work of an unidentified hacker who illegally gained access to the photos.
Jennie’s management agency YG Entertainment said it officially requested the South Korean police to investigate the initial uploader of Jennie’s “personal photos”. Nothing more has been heard about the incident.
