Major stars are being courted for a pair of romance dramas, a crime mystery drama and a tale of espionage in the early 20th century in our latest round-up of K-drama casting news.

1. Shouldn’t Have Kissed

After charming us in The Atypical Family earlier this year, Jang Ki-yong may return in the romantic drama Shouldn’t Have Kissed on SBS. Also being courted to star in the series is Ahn Eun-jin of Hospital Playlist and My Dearest.

The story is about a single woman who pretends to be a mother and the team leader at work who falls in love with her.

Ahn is eyeing the role of Lee Da-rim, who pretends to be a married mother to secure a job, while Jang has been offered the part of Gong Ji-hyuk, a bright office manager who excels thanks to his cool-under-fire judgments and who grows fond of new colleague Da-rim.

Penning the show is Ha Yoon-a (From Now on, Showtime!), while Kim Jae-hyun, the director of One Dollar Lawyer, is at the helm.

2. Spring Fever

The team behind coming tvN romance Spring Fever has reached out to Ahn Bo-hyun (Military Prosecutor Doberman) and Lee Joo-bin (Queen of Tears) to be their leads.
