From a shopping centre’s new, free-to-use rooftop playground to a Sai Kung kayak tour to a laugh-filled comedy show, here are five things to check out before the start of a new week.

1. The Geometric Wonderzoo

Take your energetic children to the newly opened outdoor Geometric Wonderzoo at the Sau Mau Ping Shopping Centre in Kwun Tong, Kowloon, where they can let off steam in its playground.

The 2.5-metre-high (eight-foot-high) Giant Elephant Adventure Slide, turtle-shaped trampoline and nestlike climbing zone will help them improve their balance, muscle strength and sense of balance.

The playground’s flooring is designed to reflect the stunning natural hexagonal formations of the Hong Kong Unesco Global Geopark.

Bring sunscreen and a hat, as there is little shade to be had in the rooftop playground. Access is free and there is no need to preregister.
