With only a few weeks between the Western and Lunar new years in 2025, it might seem like you have barely any time to prepare for the Year of the Snake, which starts on January 29.
It is time for some smart shopping. To help out, here are some discounts on traditional Chinese New Year puddings to gift your family, friends and colleagues.
1. Hotel Icon
Above and Beyond, a Chinese restaurant in the Hotel Icon, is presenting a Lunar New Year pudding with a twist by adding black truffle to its turnip pudding with Yunnan ham and preserved meat (HK$328).
Other selections include taro pudding with sakura shrimp, conpoy and preserved meat (HK$328) and new year pudding with brown sugar and ginger (HK$328).
There is a 15 per cent early-bird discount for orders made on or before January 19.
