1. More Good x Yardbird’s Golden Goose Holiday Dinner
It’s the season of giving, so this weekend why not put your money where your mouth is by supporting Hong Kong charity More Good? You can snap up tickets (HK$1,088 per person) for its Golden Goose Holiday Dinner on December 22.
Hosted in More Good’s expansive Chai Wan events space and kitchen, the feast is co-hosted by the Yardbird team and begins at 5pm with drinks and snacks, before diners move on to the main event at 6pm.
On the menu is roast goose served with persimmon jelly, lily bulb and Parmesan mash, local chrysanthemum and stuffing. Parts of the goose will also be used to create a number of Yardbird-style side dishes.
There’s also dessert in the form of ice cream and pies.
Profits from the event will go towards More Good’s mission to prepare, cook and deliver nutritious meals to vulnerable communities such as the elderly in Chai Wan public housing estates and organisations such as Refugee Union and Impact Hong Kong.
