The award for the restaurant in the Thai capital’s Sukhumvit district, which serves southern Thai cuisine, was announced in Bangkok on November 28 at the unveiling of the 2025 Michelin Guide Thailand.

Sorn chef Supaksorn “Ice” Jongsiri was overcome with emotion as he took to the stage to receive the accolade.

“There are many things that I am thankful for. People that I love, people who made today possible … they’re all here in Thailand,” he said. “So, I’m thankful that Thailand is my home.”
