5 of the best things to do in Hong Kong this weekend, October 25-27, indoors and out
Try your hand at cocktail making, immerse yourself in jazz music, learn about endurance running and more this weekend
There is plenty to do in the open air this weekend, but with typhoon Trami lurking in the region, there is a chance the fine weather we have been having might take a turn for the worse. Well, we can always stream entertainment at home.
Here are our five Hong Kong weekend highlights.
1. Made in Lantau Festival
Take a ferry out to Mui Wo for the Made in Lantau Festival, which promises a weekend of wholesome activities in the great outdoors, from performances to forest bathing.
The highlight for those who love a tipple is the Sip & Savour workshop (1pm-5pm on October 26 and October 27) that invites participants to explore the Ho family’s fruit orchards – which they have tended for seven decades – taste their fresh produce and also use fruit to create two unique cocktails.
There is also a special wampee canned cocktail created in collaboration with Hong Kong tea company Sage Tea that is available for purchase during the festival.
