Over the past decade, the Los Angeles-based designer has put pop culture into overdrive with his campy designs for the brand.

He has literally turned paper doll dresses into couture, put Shrek on the runway and dressed celebrities in giant hamburger costumes. Under the brand’s name, he has made bold, energetic choices that blurred the lines between fashion and pop art.

Meanwhile, Scott’s own name has become synonymous with a bombastic, colourful and cartoonish style that makes people laugh, while still making memorable statements on runways across the globe.

Asked if he ever looks back on his career, the designer, now 47, shrugs. He’s proud of what he has achieved since debuting his first collection with Moschino in 2014, but is always looking to the future.
