From the catwalks of Paris and Milan to the textile factories of China’s hinterland, sustainability has finally become a vital issue in the fashion and beauty industries.

Global warming, or the climate crisis, as many now refer to it, is more pressing than ever and fashion is notoriously one of the most polluting industries around.

Fashion’s focus on sustainability, however, needs to be more than a short-lived trend and is something that the industry as a whole needs to embrace for the long term to make a meaningful impact.
