1 Hong Kong’s first On flagship store opening
Swiss sports brand On is bringing its unique collection of footwear, clothing, and accessories to the city with the opening of its first flagship store.
The new store in Central, the city’s bustling commercial and financial district, spans more than 278 square metres. Although this is On’s first flagship store in Hong Kong, the brand has successfully opened 10 stores in mainland China over the past year.
The store is now open, so run, don’t walk to check out its innovative cloud-sole technology at first hand this weekend.

2 BTS pop-up: Monochrome in Hong Kong
The Monochrome BTS pop-up store is finally arriving in Hong Kong.

Visitors can expect a wide range of the K-pop mega boy band’s official merchandise, from photo cards and posters to stickers and home goods like candles, magnets, and storage boxes. There’s even a chance to snag products associated with RM’s recent solo album Right Place, Wrong Person.
No pre-registration is needed; just be ready to queue for entry. Be aware that there may be purchasing limits on certain items, so you may not be able to buy out everything related to your bias.

3 100% Doraemon and Friends Tour
The creative minds behind the giant inflatable ducks that captivated Hong Kong in 2023 are back. Following a dazzling drone show preview on May 25, the beloved robot cat Doraemon will take centre stage in Hong Kong, offering fans an unforgettable experience.

Because of overwhelming demand, the ticketed Doraemon exhibition, initially scheduled to run from July 13 to August 4, has been extended to August 18. Visitors can explore the free outdoor exhibition areas from July 13 to August 11 at Avenue of Stars and the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, while the main event is held at nearby K11 Musea.
In addition to the exhibitions, a range of exclusive collectibles will be available for the public to purchase, including premium prints, limited-edition wooden sculptures (restricted to 500 worldwide), and plush toys. Exclusive merchandise is also available at the exhibition venue.

4 Open-air markets at SummerFest @ Central & Wan Chai
The annual SummerFest has been in full swing at the Central Harbourfront Event Space since July 5, and runs until August 11. It features a diverse mix of arts, music, market stalls, and sports, with special themed events.

A standout feature this year is the outdoor market, which offers an opportunity to buy local from Hong Kong small businesses. You will find unique, handcrafted items and can support the community while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Other highlights include the Inflatable Wonders – five giant inflatable replicas of world landmarks including Stonehenge and the Tower of Pisa – the Fun Sports Gala with weekend fun runs, mermaid-themed activities, and the return of the HK Camping Festival.

5 Tourism Board coupons giveaway
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) rolled out a new summer campaign on July 11, “Summer Chill Hong Kong”, offering 500,000 sets of transport, dining, and shopping coupons to overnight visitors.
These coupon sets, valued at over HK$500 each, include special discounts on transport, sightseeing, dining, and shopping. Visitors can collect the coupons upon check-in at over 200 participating hotels or from designated HKTB counters.
