The hashtag #WonhoIsAlmostHome began trending on Twitter over the weekend after Monsta X’s agency, Starship Entertainment, announced on Friday that a probe into his alleged marijuana use would not result in any charges.

“Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency wrapped up on March 10 its investigation into the former Monsta X member Wonho over his drug allegations and cleared him of all charges,” Starship said in a statement. “From now on, Starship will give unsparing support to Wonho so he can walk the path he wants to.”

It did not say whether he would rejoin Monsta X, but thousands of fans took to social media platforms such as Twitter to express their support for Wonho’s return.

Wonho left Monsta X last October after multiple allegations – including the use of marijuana in 2013 – were raised against him. TV personality Jung Da-eun also accused him of not repaying millions of won of a debt, and claimed the singer had previously been jailed in a youth detention centre for theft.
