Crash Adams have 2.6 million followers on Instagram, 6.3 million followers on TikTok and 10.5 million subscribers on YouTube. But who are they?
If you are on any of the above social media platforms, then you have almost most certainly heard the pop duo sing – they are the guys who ask strangers “If you don’t like this song, we will [fill in the blank] …” before blasting out one of their tunes, or ask them to freestyle or rap to their songs.
The duo are back in Hong Kong this weekend – so what surprises could lie in store?

1. YouTube Music Night @Harbour City – Crash Adams & Oliver Cronin

On August 25 at 6pm, YouTube and TikTok stars Crash Adams and Oliver Cronin will perform a one-hour set at the Ocean Terminal Deck in Tsim Sha Tsui, with Victoria Harbour as the backdrop.
Collectively, the Canadian pop duo and the Australian singer-songwriter’s videos have racked up hundreds of millions of likes.
You can watch the show for free if you register before August 23.

2. Men-ya New Old
Cool down with the hottest noodle trend in Japan this summer: kombusui tsukemen features springy noodles to be dipped in a sea kelp broth (kombu means kelp, while sui means water in Japanese) that has a slightly sticky texture thanks to the seaweed.
It is the signature offering at Men-ya New Old, newly opened by the team behind familiar noodle joints Zagin Soba and Maru de Sankaku nearby.

3. Pachinko season 2


Pachinko, the adaptation of Min Jin Lee’s acclaimed novel about the lives of a family of Koreans in Japan, returns for a highly anticipated second season, this time helmed by Arvin Chen (Au Revoir, Taipei) and Korean-Japanese filmmaker Lee Sang-il (Wandering).
As the season unfolds, the family must contend with cataclysmic events such as the dropping of the atomic bomb that devastates Nagasaki and, later, the Korean war.
The show represents the very best in top-tier melodrama, a beautifully realised epic of hardship and heartbreak that speaks to audiences of every creed and colour regardless of where they came from or where they live now.
Its intimate story of families and relationships is pitched against one of the most tumultuous and hostile backdrops imaginable, but ultimately offers hope and optimism for the future. Read our full review

4. Chantecaille Cheetah Collection

5. Baby Rave by Little HK x Baumhaus
On Saturday, parents are welcome to bring babies and toddlers from five months to four years to Hong Kong’s first baby rave, at The Fringe Club.
These lively gatherings are trending globally and let parents enjoy music and dance with their children in a safe and fun environment.

One room at the club will be a child-safe disco with dance music, while a connected room will offer a place to chill out with other parents and children, play with toys, listen to music, and take part in movement activities.
