Carina Lau reveals her pride in husband Tony Leung's film role

Veteran actress Carina Lau Ka-ling was radiating with pride for hubby Tony Leung Chiu-wai's performance in Wong Kar-wai's newly released action-packed drama .

She talked fondly of Leung's acting at the store reopening of Parisian jeweller Chaumet's boutique in Elements mall on Thursday night.

"I see a different Tony Leung in the film. He has achieved a great breakthrough [in acting]," said Lau. "He's different now and more matured."

Whether film awards would come his way wasn't an issue, Lau added. Leung had throughly enjoyed the process of filming and that was what mattered.

It took Leung three years to finish the filming. Now he had finally completed the project, would it be time for them to consider having a baby?

Lau replied that although lots of things could be realised today through technology, she wouldn't want to use artificial means to conceive.
