Dr Fern’s Gin Parlour – the doctor’s final prescription
What: Dr Fern’s Gin Parlour announced its imminent closure on January 25 earlier this month, joining a series of farewells from some of our favourite bars in Hong Kong over the last few months – the likes of PDT, MO Bar and Room 309.
To mark the end of eight years at the Landmark, the gin outpost has announced a series of “final prescriptions” from guest mixologists, starting with Lio Yao, co-founder of Shanghai’s highly regarded Union Trading Company, on January 16.
It is the first of three prime opportunities to bid farewell to one of Hong Kong’s best outposts for gin. Other local guest mixologists include Paul Chan of St. Regis Bar on January 18, and Gerry Olino from Soho House on January 24.
Where: B/F, Landmark Atrium, The Landmark, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Central
