Former Hong Kong businessmen Franco Orr Yiu-kwan was jailed in Canada for 18 months for human trafficking, after his Filipino helper - who had travelled with the family when they moved countries - continued to work long after her tourist visa expired. A Canadian court heard that Orr forced the woman, Leticia Sarmiento, to work 16 hours a day, seven days a week, for almost two years.
