The Hong Kong-based jockey on board Irish stallion Green Moon triumphed at Australia's 152nd Melbourne Cup, one of the world's richest flat races. During the 3,200-metre race, Prebble said he realised Green Moon was never going to be beaten. "I knew there wasn't any horse in this race with a turn of foot like him," he said. Prebble rejected rides on horses that went on to win in four previous Cups. "That's why it means so much to me to win it," he said. "There have been plenty of times I've come home and kicked the cat."
