Burmese former drug lord Naw Kham and three of his fellow drug smugglers are scheduled to be executed this afternoon, and CCTV plans to do a live broadcast as the men are each given a lethal injection.

Chinese state media have identified the other three men as Hsang Kham, Yi Lai, and Zha Xika.
They along with Naw were part of a group that ambushed two Chinese cargo ships in October 2011 and killed 13 crew members. Last month it was revealed authorities considered sending an attack drone into Myanmar air space during the manhunt for Naw.
Below is video of CCTV news presenter Zheng Tianliang announcing this morning the broadcaster will run a 'special' 2-hour program this afternoon beginning at 1:30, part of which will be live on location where the men are being held in Kunming, Yunnan province.
Responses online to CCTV's announcement have been mixed, some of shock and disgust and others of anticipation.
