In an article headlined "Motorola sues family for billions in HK courts" on March 14, the report on a decision made in the Court of First Instance was wrong. The court did not rule on whether assets were held in Hong Kong by the Uzan family of Turkey as was reported. Nor did it rule on whether assets were held in Hong Kong on behalf of the family and its associates by Phyllis Kwong Ka-yin, Colin Alan Cook and three Hong Kong companies, namely HPF Private Investment Fund, AA Capital Investments and Hijaz Investments Hong Kong as alleged by the plaintiff in the case, Motorola. Those judgments have yet to be made. We regret the error.
