Dubai powered to victory in the men's Gaelic football final at the 15th Asian GAA Games, beating Qatar 1-7 (one goal and seven points) to 1-4 in an all-Emirati final at King's Park in Kowloon yesterday. Players from 14 Asian countries competed to be crowned the Asian Gaelic champions in football and hurling, the traditional Irish sports run by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Singapore thrashed Seoul Gaels 7-7 to 1-5 in the women's football final. The hurling was won by an All China side, who beat a combined Singapore/Vietnam team 3-8 to 3-7.
