Protesters demand half price for disabled

About 50 representatives of more than 40 concern groups marched from the Mei Foo bus terminal to the headquarters of Kowloon Motor Bus in Lai Chi Kok at about noon yesterday to demand that the company introduce discounted fares for people with disabilities. The demonstrators made paper cranes to symbolise their wish for half-priced bus fares. All public transport was free yesterday for people with disabilities.
