When Canto-pop rocker Denise Ho Wan-sze staged her last gig at the Coliseum three years ago, she made it an intimate affair, jamming with her musician friends. But this time around Ho says her concert is not just about having a good time.

Ho wants everyone to be a 'superhero' by changing the world, no matter how insignificant the contribution may seem. 'I believe every person has a super power and they can find [it] within themselves ... just the ability to treat those around you nicely or even to believe in yourself. That's super power to me,' she told the Post in an earlier interview.

Ho promotes her message on her latest album, Heroes, and she also ran a campaign on her website calling for fans to send in short clips discussing their ideas on super powers.

Her new superhero look, comprising a miniskirt and thigh-high boots (right), is a dramatic transformation from her tomboy image, but she says that the look is not intended to quash those rumours about her sexual orientation.

'I [am] portraying a female superhero. Most of them wear tight outfits, don't they? Honestly, that sort of gossip doesn't bother me because it's not supposed to be discussed anyway,' she says.
