Alliance urges better integration of autistic

About a third of the 2,600 autistic children at primary level are studying in mainstream schools, said the Hong Kong Autism Alliance. The group, which was set up yesterday to coincide with UN World Autism Awareness Day, is an independent group of parents, volunteers and professionals. The alliance said it was important to educate teachers and students in helping autistic children to integrate into the school community.
