The park needs a food and beverage operations manager who can oversee and supervise personnel at about 25 food outlets which range from mobile kiosks and fast food shops to sit-down dining options with fantastic views and an array of cuisines.
Part of the role will involve maintaining strict vigilance and ensuring compliance to all prescribed methods and standards governing the safety of food and the food production process.
'The food and beverage operations manager will also work with other department managers on other catering and or entertaining business needs; lead his or her team and inspect all facilities under his or her jurisdiction; work closely with and monitor performance of food concessionaries; and make business plans and budgets,' said Brian Ho, Ocean Park's human resources director.
Mr Ho said candidates must have more than 10 years of hands-on experience in F&B operations and production with at least three years in a management position.
Another requirement is a degree or diploma in hotel or catering management.
