Product: Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones Price: $280 Pros: Enjoyable play and frenetic combat Cons: Occasionally choppy in-game animation
The Two Thrones is the highly anticipated climax of the Prince of Persia action-adventure trilogy from video game publisher Ubisoft.
But as sequels to other popular franchises such as Quake and Medal of Honour have shown, The Two Thrones will be weighed down by comparisons with the original, The Sands of Time, and its sequel, The Warrior Within.
No problem here - I was satisfied with the third instalment of Prince of Persia.
The game provides a variety of action combat, agility and story-driven puzzles.
I found the story, graphics, sound, music, voice acting and game play succeeded in blending the light mood of the original and the dark flavour of the first sequel into an enjoyable new tale.
The plot follows the ending of The Warrior Within, as the prince makes his way home to Babylon on a ship with the enigmatic Empress of Time, Kaileena.
