The return of Elton John

CitySeen can confirm that Elton John will perform with his band in Hong Kong as part of his North Asian tour in September.

He will be playing in Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul and Shanghai. A spokeswoman says dates and full tour details will be announced shortly.

The last time he played here was in 1993, under the helm of concert promoter Anders Nelsson (pictured with Elton), who says: 'It was one of my proudest moments ...we still hold the record at the Hong Kong Coliseum for the most gweilo shows in one run. We sold out four nights.'
