Soccer mania hit Wan Chai on Monday night as piles of English football fans celebrated a 4-2 win against Croatia. Joe Bananas, Venue, Dusk 'Til Dawn - all the hot spots were packed after the win, with lots of chanting and carrying on. The Dragon Boat Festival holiday only added to the excitement.
Astrological adviser Anita Nigam (who holds a degree in astrology from India) specialises in making predictions on sporting events. From tennis, to hockey to soccer, she has proved correct in 80-85 per cent of cases.
But her forecasts for the past two days have not been too impressive - unfortunately, she only managed to predict half the results correctly. While confident a 'divine grace' would save England, well at least in the form of potato-headed Wayne Rooney (seen at right), she inexplicably forecast that the Swiss team would be excellent. For the record, they were hammered 3-1 by a misfiring France.
