Celestial Pictures - owner of the Shaw Brothers' film library - is making a series of documentaries about Hong Kong cinema.

Most are concerned with the history of swordplay and kung fu, but the one we await with popcorn in hand is Hong Kong Cinema: Beauties, the revealing story of the Shaw Brothers' leading ladies. Many rare interviews have been included of yesterday's lithe starlets chatting away with cinema's now 95-year-old grand-daddy, Sir Run Run Shaw.
