Asia makes the best fakes, and that includes Elvis.

So brace yourself for the Hong Kong Elvis Presley Fan Club's 35th anniversary, when some of the region's best Elvis impersonators (or tribute artists, as they like to be called) gather to shake, rattle and roll.

Among the wigged-up hunks of burnin' love will be Hong Kong's own Johnny Ma and Thailand's famous Vasu Sangsingkeo (right), nicknamed the Diplomat Elvis because in the daytime he doubles as the First Secretary at Singapore's Thai Embassy.

The party takes place at Stix nightclub at the Park Lane Hotel, Causeway Bay, on Saturday May 31. Entrance fee is $120, which you get back in coupons to spend at the bar. Dress how you like, but we recommend wigs, sequinned suits and Cecil Chao aviator shades.
