Stephen Richard Evans, regional chief executive of Lloyds TSB, will take part in the Macau International Marathon on December 2.

This year, the annual South China Morning Post /RTHK campaign will benefit the Kely Support Group, which helps young people with drug, sex and family problems.

'I train every day,' the banker said. 'It's quite a demanding schedule but when you do it, and it's for a good cause, that really motivates you.'

The UK-based bank also sponsored the Post /RTHK charity concert Starlight Capriccio, held on Wednesday night at the Cultural Centre, where $315,000 was raised for Operation Santa Claus.
