Representing the SEATEC Group of Companies for more than four decades, Dr Subin Pinkayan, SEATEC's founder and chief honorary adviser, saw the company grow from a small outfit specialising in water resource development, into a group of companies addressing society's needs and servicing clients in Thailand and across Asia.
"We are not in the field of engineering only but in the field of human needs," Subin says. "The world needs food, energy, infrastructure and the awareness to conserve the environment. We are concentrating on these things."
SEATEC Group provides services that support the entire life cycle of a project. Its successful initiatives include a master plan for Dubai's Palm Islands, construction supervision for Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport and various projects for the Royal Thai Government and multinational companies.
"Thailand has enjoyed a decade of steady growth," says Salin Pinkayan, SEATEC president. "It will continue to grow as the government plans to invest trillions of baht in the coming years in mega-infrastructure projects to increase the country's competitiveness."
As development projects in Southeast Asia increase in complexity and size, SEATEC Group continues to improve its technical and technological capabilities to meet the increasing demands of clients. Offering the full spectrum of consulting services from feasibility studies to design and supervision, the group continues to expand its reach into neighbouring Asean markets such as Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
