Tony Chan to stand trial for forgery in April

Self-styled fung shui master Tony Chan Chun-chuen, 52 (left), will go on trial in April accused of forging and using a false will to claim the fortune of late tycoon Nina Wang Kung Yu-sum. A pre-trial review hearing will take place on January 24 and the main hearing, set to last 60 days, will start on April 22.

HK toy maker wins US$7.2 million damages

MGA Entertainment, manufacturer of American fashion dolls Bratz, must pay US$7.2 million in damages to local toy maker Toys & Trends (Hong Kong) after losing an appeal related to a copyright row.

NBA star Jeremy Lin will make his first visit to the city on August 24 to launch a community programme funded by the New World Group Charity Foundation. The Houston Rockets point guard is expected to share his career story in a meeting with students from underprivileged families and young basketball lovers during the launch at the K11 mall in Tsim Sha Tsui.
